Job Title: Private Crime Solicitor Location: Multiple Offices around South East England Salary: up to £55,000 Job Reference: 36912 Our Client, a reputable and expanding law firm, is seeking an enthusiastic Private Crime Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join their Private Crime Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of privately funded general crime and road traffic matters. Key Responsibilities: Managing your own caseload of private crime matters, including road traffic offences. Undertaking your own advocacy in the Magistrates\’ Court, including handling trials and exceptional hardship applications. Providing high-quality legal advice to private clients across a variety of criminal law matters. Working independently to generate new business outside of duty solicitor rotas/schemes, demonstrating strong business development capabilities. Building and maintaining a loyal client following, offering exceptional client care and service. Regulatory experience is desirable, with a focus on adding value to the wider team through specialised knowledge.Requirements: A minimum of 5 years\’ PQE in private crime, with solid experience managing your own caseload. Strong advocacy skills with experience in the Magistrates\’ Court. Proven ability to generate private client work independently, outside of duty solicitor schemes. Excellent client care and communication skills, with a proactive approach to business development.
