What will be expected from you? Handling enquiries from clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties. Recording detailed attendance notes for all correspondence. Opening and closing files, keeping them up-to-date with both electronic and hard copy correspondence, while ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm standards. Providing administrative support, including tasks such as photocopying and scanning. Drafting basic letters and preparing/submitting simple legal documents. Completing legal forms, registering documents, and submitting applications to the Court. Managing contact lists and calendars for fee earners. Tracking and monitoring deadlines. Conducting searches and registering Wills with Certainty. Preparing and submitting bills to the finance team on behalf of fee earners. Creating Estate Accounts using Excel. Providing reception cover.
