Overview

Are you a Residential Property/Conveyancing Legal Assistant seeking a role within a highly regarded Legal 500 recognised firm? This is an outstanding opportunity to join a supportive and progressive team. Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of general administrative duties to support the team\’s daily operations
  • Prepare and issue quotes to clients in a timely and accurate manner
  • Handle enquiries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents, ensuring clear and professional communication
  • Provide regular client updates and monitor the progress of matters to ensure smooth case progression
  • Open and close files on the case management system, ensuring full compliance with the firm\’s AML policies, quality standards, and SRA/CQS regulations
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in handling leasehold transactions
  • Conduct online property searches efficiently and accurately
  • Use the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans
  • Generate Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) calculations and submit relevant applications
  • Prepare and submit bills, receipts, and payments to the finance team on behalf of fee earners
  • Provide occasional reception cover as required to support front-of-house operations
