We are seeking an experienced Solicitor with Panel Membership, who specialises in legal service focused on the niche area of Mental Health Law. Our client demonstrates a sophisticated approach to legal representation by:

  • Operating across multiple locations with multiple offices across the UK and within London and Birmingham.
  • Maintaining a presence in Public Sector and servicing three high-secure hospitals.
  • Offering a flexible, modern working arrangement with remote working options available.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time remote position
  • Solicitor who Specialises in Mental Health Law
  • Membership in the Law Society's Mental Health Tribunal Panel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of Mental Health Law matters
  • Representing clients in Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings
  • Attending Care Programme Approach (CPA) and Section 117 aftercare meetings
  • Meeting fee-earning targets and maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Contributing to business development and marketing efforts

Working Arrangement:

  • Primarily remote work
  • Option to use offices in London
  • Requires strong independent working skills, self-motivation, and excellent organisational skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE
  • Mental Health Tribunal Panel membership
  • Extensive experience in handling Mental Health Law cases
