We are seeking an experienced Solicitor with Panel Membership, who specialises in legal service focused on the niche area of Mental Health Law. Our client demonstrates a sophisticated approach to legal representation by:
- Operating across multiple locations with multiple offices across the UK and within London and Birmingham.
- Maintaining a presence in Public Sector and servicing three high-secure hospitals.
- Offering a flexible, modern working arrangement with remote working options available.
Position Overview:
- Full-time remote position
- Solicitor who Specialises in Mental Health Law
- Membership in the Law Society's Mental Health Tribunal Panel
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of Mental Health Law matters
- Representing clients in Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings
- Attending Care Programme Approach (CPA) and Section 117 aftercare meetings
- Meeting fee-earning targets and maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Contributing to business development and marketing efforts
Working Arrangement:
- Primarily remote work
- Option to use offices in London
- Requires strong independent working skills, self-motivation, and excellent organisational skills
