Our client is seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor (24 PQE). This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected London firm recognised for its complex civil litigation work. The successful candidate will handle medium to high-value disputes, support partners on larger matters, and work across professional negligence, property ownership disputes, fiduciary matters, and contractual litigation.

Position Overview: You will manage your own caseload of civil litigation matters while also assisting partners on larger, high-value disputes. The role involves direct client contact, representation at hearings, compliance with CPR and litigation procedures, and opportunities to supervise junior team members and contribute to ongoing business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from initial instruction to conclusion
- Negotiate settlements and manage ADR processes
- Attend hearings, trials, and case management conferences
- Liaise with clients, experts, courts, and solicitors professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate records using the firm's case management system
- Support partners on complex or high-value cases
- Delegate work to trainees or paralegals where appropriate
- Participate in business development and marketing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with SRA Code of Conduct and regulatory obligations
Requirements:
- 24 years PQE in civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of CPR and litigation procedure
- Experience in professional negligence, contract disputes, property ownership and/or fiduciary disputes
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters with strong time management
- Confident, client-focused and able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of compliance, SRA rules and Lexcel standards
