Position Overview:

You will manage a varied and challenging caseload of serious criminal matters, representing clients at all stages of proceedings while delivering high-quality legal advice and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of serious criminal matters
  • Conducting advocacy in both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
  • Advising clients throughout the legal process
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees
  • Working collaboratively within a busy and dynamic team

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 4–5 years’ PQE in criminal law
  • Strong experience handling serious criminal cases
  • Excellent advocacy, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
  • Commitment to social justice and client care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Police Station Accreditation and Duty Solicitor status desirable
