Position Overview:
You will manage a varied and challenging caseload of serious criminal matters, representing clients at all stages of proceedings while delivering high-quality legal advice and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of serious criminal matters
- Conducting advocacy in both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
- Advising clients throughout the legal process
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees
- Working collaboratively within a busy and dynamic team
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4–5 years’ PQE in criminal law
- Strong experience handling serious criminal cases
- Excellent advocacy, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
- Commitment to social justice and client care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Police Station Accreditation and Duty Solicitor status desirable
