Our Client: Established in 1971, our client has expanded over recent years to incorporate new specialisms and provide renowned, customer-focused service across Essex, Hertfordshire, and London. They are staffed by a dedicated team of lawyers who recognise the importance of excellent client care, striving to deliver a personalised service tailored to individual client needs. Highly regarded in their local communities, they have built a loyal client base spanning generations.

They are now looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join their team in their Biggleswade office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial property matters, including:
  • The sale, purchase, and lease of commercial properties, buildings, or land
  • Development, infrastructure, and planning projects
  • Property finance and investment
  • Leasehold management
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Regeneration projects
  • Mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and disposals
  • Property litigation (preferred)
  • Ensuring clients comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Supervising junior team members
  • Contributing to the practice's growth by promoting the firm to both existing and prospective clients
  • Requirements:

    • A Senior qualified practising commercial property lawyer or non-qualified commercial conveyancer in a private practice
    • 10+ years recent experience of commercial property transactional work including handling freehold and leasehold commercial conveyancing transactions
    • Able to manage and prioritise their own case load and work unsupervised
    • Used to fee targets, monthly billing, and standard key performance indicators
    • Case management experience and the skills to elicit high productivity via IT systems
    • Effectively delegates to support teams
