An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wills and Probate Practitioner to join an established and well-regarded Private Client team based in Potters Bar. Position Overview: You will manage a varied private client caseload independently, advising clients on wills, probate, trusts, and related matters, while also supporting the development and expansion of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and advising on Wills
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection deputyship and related matters
  • Trusts and tax planning
  • Managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision (Desirable exposure)
  • Contested probate matters including Inheritance Act claims and will disputes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years’ PQE in Wills and Probate / Private Client work
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Clear, professional communication with clients
  • Comfortable contributing to a wider team environment
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Willingness to attend other offices to take instructions and support department growth
