An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wills and Probate Practitioner to join an established and well-regarded Private Client team based in Potters Bar. Position Overview: You will manage a varied private client caseload independently, advising clients on wills, probate, trusts, and related matters, while also supporting the development and expansion of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and advising on Wills
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection deputyship and related matters
- Trusts and tax planning
- Managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision (Desirable exposure)
- Contested probate matters including Inheritance Act claims and will disputes
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 yearsβ PQE in Wills and Probate / Private Client work
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Clear, professional communication with clients
- Comfortable contributing to a wider team environment
- Full clean driving licence
