About The Firm:
My client is a multi-award-winning law firm with a thriving Lender Finance Team that operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Due to continued success, they are looking for Licensed Conveyancers and/or Solicitors with expertise in residential conveyancing or commercial property transactions. The firm provides expert legal support to lender clients across a range of transactions, including bridging loans, buy-to-let, commercial and development properties.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, advising lender clients on all aspects of buying and selling property, and supporting junior team members with complex transactions. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial and financial awareness who thrives under pressure and enjoys working collaboratively within a specialist team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage conveyancing files from instruction through to completion, handling both freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Title checking and resolving any associated issues.
- Advise lender clients on all aspects of property transactions, including bridging loans, buy-to-let, and commercial development.
- Act as a sounding board for junior solicitors and conveyancing assistants, overseeing complex transactions.
- Prepare contracts and supporting documents.
- Review and check official copy documents.
- Liaise with clients, agents, borrowers, asset managers, buyersβ solicitors, and internal departments.
- Ensure all post-completion matters are concluded accurately and efficiently.
- Utilise case management systems to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Manage client billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
Essential:
- 2+ years PQE as a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor.
- Extensive experience in residential conveyancing, including buy-to-let and leasehold properties.
- Strong understanding of corporate client transactions.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proactive approach with strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills at all levels.
- Strong team player ethos, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
