Conveyancing Solicitor — Position Overview:
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Work in a fast-paced environment delivering a high standard of client care
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the department
- Exposure to a high volume of high-quality conveyancing work
Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancing Solicitor:
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties and Right to Buy matters
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
- Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements of the Conveyancing Solicitor:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
- Minimum 5 years' PQE in residential conveyancing (candidates with more or less experience demonstrating the required skills will be considered)
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law
- Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, commercially aware and able to work effectively under pressure, with case management system experience desirable
