Our client is seeking a 1β3 year PQE Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team and handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters. Type of Work β Commercial Property Solicitor:
- Acquire leasehold and freehold properties, including greenfield, rooftop, and in-build sites
- Prepare and handle variations, surrenders, and assignments
- Draft and manage agreements, licences to occupy, and customer licences
- Manage supplemental leases, tenancies at will, and break notices
- Handle rent deposit deeds, easements, and covenants
Key Responsibilities for this Commercial Property Solicitor role:
- Draft and review documentation; negotiate terms to finalise documents
- Prepare clear correspondence with clients, surveyors, and other lawyers
- Investigate registered and unregistered titles, raise requisitions, and advise on defects or compliance issues
- Handle completions and post-completion SDLT and HMLR applications
- Attend review meetings and provide project updates
- Maintain strong client relationships and respond to queries promptly
- Work on secondment with client in-house teams when requested
- Deliver training sessions and participate in client events
