Due to recent successes, my client is expanding the department and seeking a Medical/Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their growing team.
Position Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked team of expert solicitors. The successful candidate will handle a varied and challenging caseload, working on inquests, psychiatric and fatal cases. A passion for access to justice and a strong background in medical/clinical negligence litigation are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of medical negligence claims, including inquests, psychiatric injury, fatal cases.
- Conduct legal research, case preparation, and client advocacy.
- Work closely with medical experts and counsel to develop case strategy.
- Support and represent clients at inquests and hearings.
- Provide clear, compassionate, and expert legal advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the Clinical Negligence department.
Requirements:
Essential:
- 2+ years PQE as a Medical Negligence Solicitor.
- Experience handling inquests, psychiatric injury, fatal cases, and Human Rights Act claims.
