Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Licensed Conveyancers or Solicitors specialising in residential conveyancing or commercial property transactions to join a dynamic and high-performing lender finance team. The role involves advising lender clients on residential and commercial property transactions, bridging loans, buy-to-let, commercial and development projects, including complex legal and financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing freehold and leasehold transactions from initial instruction through to completion, addressing all enquiries, resolving title issues, conducting and reviewing searches, and satisfying mortgage conditions.
- Conducting detailed title checking.
- Supporting junior solicitors and conveyancing assistants, particularly on complex transactions.
- Preparing contracts and associated documentation.
- Reviewing official documents and ensuring accuracy.
- Liaising effectively with clients, agents, borrowers, solicitors, asset managers, and internal departments.
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of post-completion tasks.
- Using case management systems daily.
- Managing client billing processes accurately.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in residential or commercial conveyancing.
- Essential experience with buy-to-let, leasehold properties, and corporate clients.
- Commercial conveyancing experience advantageous.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, commercially aware, and financially astute.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and strong teamwork ethos.
