Tetra Claims offers a transformative approach to Third Party Administration (TPA) for global and local underwriters, MGAs, and brokers managing Australian risk. As part of the Squared Group, we deliver a fully integrated, technology-led solution that seamlessly combines claims administration, claims management and litigation services – all on a fixed-fee basis. Our model provides insurers with radical transparency and cost certainty, supporting effective management of claims loss ratios and delivering clear, technology-enabled outcomes that are predictable and cost-effective. Tetra Claims also supports Australian corporates in managing under excess risk/claims. Demand for Tetra Claims services is growing in the London market, as we are working directly with Lloyd’s Managing Agents and Brokers to support UK-based insurance market participants managing Australian risk portfolios.

About The Role / Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships with Lloyd’s Managing Agents and insurance market participant partners across the London market, acting as their primary London point of contact for Tetra Claims.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of each client’s book, priorities and service expectations to ensure Tetra Claims consistently exceeds SLAs.
  • Represent Tetra Claims at market events, meetings and Lloyd’s market forums to build profile and trust.
  • Manage client relationships proactively and in real time noting Tetra Claims specialises in Australian claims and the time zone challenges that presents to clients in the UK market.
  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities with Managing Agents, Brokers, MGAs and other insurance market participants to grow Tetra Claims’ clients and referrals.
  • Develop and execute a business development plan aligned with Tetra Claims’ broader growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Tetra Claims and Squared Group leadership on proposals, pitches and pricing for new client opportunities.
  • Apply strong knowledge of the Lloyd’s market, coverholder arrangements and delegated authority to advise clients and internal teams.
  • Provide credible, informed input on claims handling approach, TPA capability and service design to prospective and existing clients.
  • Stay abreast of Lloyd’s market developments, regulatory change and competitor activity relevant to Tetra Claims’ UK proposition.
  • Work with client claims teams and Tetra Claims team on claim management.
  • Assist and triage in real time client queries, advice needs and reporting.
  • Be proficient in claims management for financial lines, professional indemnity and similar lines of insurance.
  • Provide regular reporting on client relationship health, pipeline and business development activity to the Head of Tetra Claims.
  • Work closely with the claims delivery team to ensure client expectations are translated into operational outcomes.
  • Manage escalations from key clients, ensuring timely and transparent resolution.
  • Champion Tetra Claims’ technology-enabled, fixed-fee TPA model when engaging clients and prospects.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and strengthen Tetra Claims’ value proposition in the London market.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives supporting Tetra Claims’ growth ambitions.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in relationship management and account management within general insurance, ideally the Lloyd’s market.
  • Demonstrated business development capability, with experience identifying, pitching and winning new business.
  • Strong knowledge of the Lloyd’s market, including Managing Agents, Brokers, MGAs and delegated authority arrangements.
  • Sound understanding of claims management, ideally within a TPA, MGA, broker or underwriting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
