This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and talented communications professional to join a busy and high-profile media relations team. The media relations team promotes and protects the Law Society's reputation, profile and influence with its target audiences through broadcast, print, online and social media as well as promoting the standing of our members. This is an exciting and varied role where your skills and knowledge will be used to great effect.
What we're looking for:
- You will have experience as a press officer or journalist and a sharp nose for a news story, as well as an interest in the subject matters within the legal sector.
- You will have excellent writing skills and ability to turn policy and research on complex legal issues into clear and concise communications which appeals to media.
- You will have experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and be able to work at pace, with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines.
