Role Overview
We are looking for a Trust Solutions Officer to join our Corporate Trust team in our London office. The Trust Solutions Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting post-issue administrative matters across a wide range of capital markets products.
Main Duties
- Processing daily ETFS redemptions & allocations
- Arranging signing of Trust Deeds, Legal Charges, Powers of Attorney and a variety of other legal documents
- Procuring the due execution of documents and releases of security, certificates of non-crystallisation and proxies/consents; dealing with Land Registry forms and other matters
- The maintenance of our internal database including, the management of diary notes, entering new transactions, updating existing transactions, running various reports, and undertaking and completing tasks
- Assisting oil abandonment valuations and renewal of securities, adding details of new security to LD3 and storage system
- Complete Housing reconciliations
- Raise MTN invoices
- Assisting with KYC as required
- Management and operation of a sophisticated record-keeping and storage system for original/electronic documents where rapid access is essential; this also requires the operation of off-site storage facilities
- Liaising with the Finance department to ensure the preparation of invoices for legal and trustee fees incurred. Dispatching the prepared invoices and monitoring the payment of these fees from the relevant parties, including management of billing report.
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as Issuers, law firms, auditors etc.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects
- Undertake training and development as appropriate and engage fully in the performance management process
- Contribute to the LawDeb culture positively, attend meetings as required, and carry out duties willingly and diligently
- Where regulatory rules apply, abide by these in spirit and fact
- Carry out such other tasks as you may be reasonably directed to do by the senior management team from time to time
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Diligent, with excellent attention to detail
- IT literate
- Outstanding communication and numeracy skills (incl. grammar and adapting communication style to suit audience)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Some prior corporate trust or other related experience preferred but not essential
