Role Overview
Safecall has seen rapid growth over the last couple of years as employers increasingly see the value of outsourcing their whistleblowing services to give their employees peace of mind and to ensure adherence to legislation. The role of the Account Manager is to help manage and realise opportunities in our increasing customer base. You will also be responsible for growing and retaining a section of our customers.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain existing customer relationships to realise the upsell opportunity and successfully retain accounts
- Day-to-day activity will involve contacting customers in a structured manner, discovering, and progressing opportunities
- Development of account plans and adherence to them
- Consultatively build relationships with customers
- Uncover client’s business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities
- Efficiently and effectively process opportunities into sales
- Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects
- Achieve sales targets upsell and retention
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an account management role or similar
- Experience of using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology, ideally from a professional services or software background
- Proven record of achieving in sales roles
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, technical sales environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues
- Excellent telephone and online presentation skills
- Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers our customers breakthrough results
