Role Overview
The Strategic Relationship Director will lead the development and management of strategic relationships that drive referral business for Safecall’s outsourced employment investigations and hotline services. This includes leveraging existing Law Debenture relationships with law firms, managing key software partnerships, and overseeing a critical Middle East partnership that promotes Safecall’s hotline offering to global clients. The role carries responsibility for delivering stretching revenue targets through effective engagement and referral generation, while also proactively developing new relationships from scratch in line with our business strategy to accelerate growth and sales performance.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Law Firm Relationships: Build and strengthen strategic relationships with law firms to generate referrals for employment investigations; identify and engage decision‑makers and influencers; present Safecall’s outsourced investigations expertise and showcase our highly experienced team. Working collaboratively with Central BD in this area will be vital, as many of these relationships are well established and co‑ordination in approach is paramount.
- Software Relationships: Manage relationships with key software partners to integrate Safecall’s services into their offerings; collaborate on joint initiatives to expand reach and referral opportunities.
- Middle East Relationship: Maintain and grow a strategic relationship with a key Middle East partner that refers Safecall’s hotline services to global clients; ensure alignment of offerings and deliver joint value propositions.
- New Relationship Development: Proactively identify and establish new strategic relationships aligned with Safecall’s growth strategy; create compelling propositions to attract them and accelerate revenue generation.
- Revenue Growth & Metrics: Deliver against stretching revenue targets by converting referral opportunities into measurable business; achieve agreed metrics for growth, including number of new relationships established annually, increase in referral volume from existing referrers, and revenue contribution; monitor and report on revenue performance linked to strategic relationships.
- Account Management: Maintain regular contact with all strategic referrers through face‑to‑face and virtual meetings; keep Safecall top‑of‑mind for outsourcing needs by delivering consistent value and insights.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams to align strategies with overall business objectives; provide feedback from referrers to inform service development and marketing initiatives; report on performance and referral pipeline.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Significant experience at senior level engaging with C‑suite executives and senior decision‑makers.
- Proven track record of revenue generation and achieving ambitious growth targets.
- Background in law firms or professional services, with strong understanding of relationship dynamics in these sectors.
- Experience managing international strategic relationships and navigating cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a relationship‑driven role.
