Resource Manager
A top law firm is seeking a Resource Manager to join its newly established Resource Management function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in optimising work allocation and supporting the development of legal talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on work allocation and utilisation for ensuring fair distribution of matters.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Partners, Associates, and HR Business Partners.
- Act as the neutral point of contact for work allocation requests, balancing client needs with internal capabilities.
- Support Associate development by understanding career objectives and providing exposure to diverse matters.
- Collaborate with the Senior Resource Manager to refine processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor capacity, forecast future needs, and manage resourcing challenges.
- Provide Partners with regular insights on utilisation and projected capacity.
Your profile:
- Previous resource management experience within private practice.
- A dynamic team player committed to delivering excellent client service.
- Innovative and solution-focused approach to challenges.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire confidence and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with matter and resource management systems is advantageous.
