What You'll Do

  • Support matter inception by onboarding new clients and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct AML checks, review KYC documentation, and perform sanctions searches.
  • Assist with terms of engagement, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Monitor ongoing client and matter risk, updating records accurately.
  • Help set up and maintain information barriers and insider lists.
  • Deliver internal training to embed best practices across the firm.
  • Contribute to audits, compliance reporting, and process improvement projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a compliance role within a regulated organization (ideally legal sector).
  • Law degree or GDL qualification, plus some legal work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
