An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Front of House AV Technician to join a leading international law firm in their London office, providing vital audio-visual support at the heart of a professional, client-facing environment.

This is a highly visible role where you will play a key part in ensuring seamless meetings and events, working closely with Front of House, Workplace, and Information Services teams to deliver a first-class experience.

The Role

As a Front of House AV Technician, you will be based in the main reception area, acting as the go-to expert for all AV support across the London office. You will ensure meeting rooms and event spaces are fully operational, supporting both in-person and hybrid collaboration.

You will combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills to deliver a smooth, professional service to colleagues and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, client-facing AV support across the London office
  • Set up and support in-person and hybrid meetings and events
  • Act as the first point of contact for AV queries and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and support meeting room technology, including MTR systems
  • Carry out regular equipment checks and resolve faults proactively
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with external AV suppliers
  • Ensure all meeting spaces are presentation-ready at all times
  • Support installations and upgrades of AV equipment
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve AV services
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment and maintenance activity
  • Provide AV guidance and training to Front of House teams
  • Support reception/client services when required

About You

  • Strong experience with AV systems and meeting room technology
  • Confident supporting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex and Google Meet
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP, MAC, DNS, connectivity)
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and via email
  • Experience in a client-facing or customer-focused role
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable delivering training and guidance to colleagues
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
