The Role

  • Develop and deploy data-driven solutions to support legal and business teams
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Build predictive models and machine learning solutions to enhance decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to translate business challenges into data solutions
  • Contribute to the firm’s data strategy, innovation initiatives and digital transformation
  • Support the development of dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights clearly
  • Ensure data quality, governance and best practices are upheld

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with legal, finance and business services teams to deliver actionable insights
  • Design and implement statistical and machine learning models
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Optimise data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and scalability
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
  • Stay up to date with emerging data science tools, techniques and technologies

About You

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in an advanced analytics role
  • Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
  • Experience with machine learning, statistical modelling and data visualisation tools
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience within professional services or a regulated environment is advantageous
