A leading law firm is looking for a Senior Revenue Manager to drive revenue strategy, lead change and deliver innovative improvements across billing, collections and working capital. This is a senior, visible role within a top‑tier professional services environment, suited to someone who enjoys projects, transformation and influencing senior stakeholders as much as running a high‑performing team.
The role:
- Lead strategic and project‑based initiatives to reduce lock‑up, aged debt and improve cash flow
- Design and implement innovative improvements to revenue management processes
- Act as a trusted business partner to Partners, practice heads and fee earners
- Provide commercial insight on rate structures and alternative billing arrangements
- Play an active role in finance leadership discussions, influencing firm‑wide decisions
- Lead and develop a team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Own forecasting, WIP management, billing and collections performance
- Support complex client billing arrangements and work closely with client finance teams to speed up payment
About you:
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment (top‑tier law firm or Big Four)
- Strong background in revenue management, billing, collections or working capital
- Project‑focused with a track record of driving change and improving ways of working
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills; confident influencing at Partner level
- A genuine people person with an adaptable, collaborative leadership style
- Commercial, analytical and solutions-oriented
