A leading law firm is looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support a positive safety culture across UK and international offices. This is a great opportunity to work closely with Facilities, HR, Office Managers and Responsible Business teams, providing trusted advice in a professional services environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day, competent health & safety advice to colleagues and managers
- Supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of H&S policies, procedures and systems
- Helping ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation and recognised best practice
- Assisting with inspections, audits and action tracking across multiple offices
- Supporting incident and near-miss reporting, investigations and corrective actions
- Coordinating and supporting H&S training, inductions and awareness activities
- Contributing to risk assessment programmes (e.g. DSE, fire safety, contractor management, slips/trips/falls)
- Producing clear reports, dashboards and compliance documentation
- Promoting engagement, communication and a strong, pragmatic safety culture
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential
- Experience in a health & safety advisory role, ideally within offices, professional services or a multi-site environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk assessment and contractor management
- Confident communicator able to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Proactive, solutions-oriented and confident, challenging unsafe practices constructively
- Comfortable working with data, reports and Microsoft Office tools
