A top law firm is seeking a Resource Manager to join its newly established Resource Management function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in optimising work allocation and supporting the development of legal talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on work allocation and utilisation for ensuring fair distribution of matters.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with Partners, Associates, and HR Business Partners.
• Act as the neutral point of contact for work allocation requests, balancing client needs with internal capabilities.
• Support Associate development by understanding career objectives and providing exposure to diverse matters.
• Collaborate with the Senior Resource Manager to refine processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor capacity, forecast future needs, and manage resourcing challenges.
• Provide Partners with regular insights on utilisation and projected capacity.

Your profile:

• Previous resource management experience within private practice.
• A dynamic team player committed to delivering excellent client service.
• Innovative and solution-focused approach to challenges.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire confidence and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with matter and resource management systems is advantageous.
