This position reports into the Vice President, Global Events & Recognition and plays a critical role in supporting the existing awards business. A specialised awards‑focused team, including cross‑functional partners in marketing, sales, operations, and editorial departments across the UK and US supports this portfolio. Regular collaboration with this group will be key. This position is essential to the effective management of the day‑to‑day operations of a growing portfolio of nearly 20 global awards. Success requires strict adherence to timelines and structured workflows to ensure alignment across all functions. The Awards Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of each awards programme, driving launch activity, facilitating cross-functional progress, and ensuring the timely and successful completion of every event cycle.
Responsibilities
- Initiate events cycle through arranging launch meetings and pulling together the previous year’s information for review and revision.
- Ensure Salesforce & Swoogo contains the same packages/pricing that is reflected in sales collateral.
- Proof-reading of key event assets, including websites, programmes, scripts, trophies and all event materials to ensure brand consistency and quality.
- Liaise with each of the functions on timelines.
- Track KPIs through weekly team meetings to ensure events are on track throughout their life cycle.
- Conclude event cycles by bringing together marketing reports, survey feedback and key stakeholders to close events.
