Key Responsibilities
Agenda Ownership
- Working closely with industry leaders to curate event agendas for LBR/ALM’s global private client events portfolio, ensuring agendas are timely, commercially relevant, and interesting.
- Personally shape and curate agendas, identifying themes, jurisdictions, and speakers.
- Ensure events maintain the company’s reputation for quality, insight, and senior-level engagement.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of international private client event agendas, from concept through to delivery.
- Lead speaker strategy, including identifying, securing, briefing, and managing high-profile speakers (both industry and keynote).
- Work closely with internal team members to ensure strong delegate experience and delivery.
- Act as a key relationship owner for senior individuals across the global private wealth industry, including leading partners, principals, and advisors.
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders, positioning the company as a strategic partner rather than a service provider.
- Represent the company at industry events.
- Serve as a visible and authoritative representative of LBR/ALM within both the private wealth community, and general counsel.
- Engage confidently with senior audiences, facilitating high-quality discussion and maintaining professional authority in public-facing settings.
Commercial Acumen
- Work closely with the sales team to support sponsorship development through speaking positions.
- Provide market insight and relationship intelligence to support commercial strategy.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence.
- Good judgement and strategic perspective.
- Highly literate with good attention to detail.
- Experience in events, conferences, or portfolio curation within legal, professional services, or B2B environments.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior partners and principals in the private wealth or professional advisory sector.
