  • Create or collaborate on charts, graphics, and other visual storytelling elements that help readers understand the story quickly.
  • Produce a mix of breaking news, enterprise, analysis, and feature stories.
  • Work closely with editors and colleagues across the newsroom to shape coverage that is authoritative, competitive, and distinctive.

  • Comfort working with data, including cleaning, analysing, and interpreting datasets for journalism.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Flourish, Datawrapper, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to turn complex financial or operational information into clear, engaging stories.
  • Strong writing, reporting, and interviewing skills, with close attention to accuracy and detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across a digital newsroom.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience covering the legal industry or major professional services firms.
