Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and talented Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role requiring both account management and new business skills across a set of defined geographical territories. You would have exclusive ownership over these jurisdictions and be primarily responsible for nurturing and closing new business prospects across a variety of products, whilst also using your relationship management and negotiation skills to upsell existing clients via telephone/screenshare presentations and email communications. The role provides significant opportunity for international travel.

What you would be doing:

  • New logo acquisition and growth of existing accounts across a selection of international jurisdictions
  • Increasing the geographical coverage of the core Lexology Panoramic product set
  • Develop in-depth market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors that is shared within the company to enhance the client experience and our product development
  • Develop and implement plans to meet and exceed quarterly new business and renewal targets
  • Occasional lead generation tasks

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum 1 year of B2B sales/account management experience
  • Previous experience selling marketing solutions within the legal or professional services market is desirable, but not essential.
  • A first-class track record of sales performance, excellent rapport building, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience of using a CRM system is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience of excelling in a target driven environment
