Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and qualify new business opportunities through calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and events.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and articulate the value proposition of our solutions.
- Deliver tailored demos, presentations, and proposals.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, ensuring accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue, activity, and conversion KPIs.
Market & Product Understanding
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, client use‑cases, and competitive market landscape.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and client challenges to ensure informed and relevant conversations.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure smooth handovers and aligned messaging.
- Provide feedback from prospects to inform product development and campaign targeting.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date pipeline reporting for management.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- A proactive, high‑energy approach to outbound sales activity.
- Experience in a B2B commercial or sales environment (6–18 months ideal, but open to strong graduates).
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
- Resilient, self‑motivated, and target‑driven.
Desirable
- Experience selling subscriptions, SaaS, data products, or professional services.
- Familiarity with legal, professional services, or research markets.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.
