Senior BD Exec role for an international firm working with leading aviation, maritime and transport sectors. Hybrid working - 2-3 days in the office. Working as part of the global sectors group, this well-resourced team is looking to recruit a Senior BD Executive to work in their highly ranked and well-renowned sector groups. This is a fantastic time to join the firm/sector as they are going through a period of growth, winning new work and developing market-leading sector campaigns globally. It will suit candidates working at Senior BD Exec level looking for a change or practice or sector, or alternatively a current BD Exec looking to take a step up.

Highlights

  • Drafting and implementing business and marketing plans.
  • Working closely to support Partners on BD strategies.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of campaigns to grow new and existing business.
  • Working with global transport sector heads with business development initiatives.
  • Preparing marketing collateral and supporting documentation ahead of client/prospect meetings.
  • Taking ownership of submissions for awards and directories.
  • Coordinating events (in conjunction with the Global Events team) and conference attendance to develop/maintain market positions matched to the business strategy and generate leads for the practice.
  • Championing the use of digital platforms and social media to raise the profile of the firm and key initiatives.

About you

  • 3+ years Business Development experience within a law firm.
  • No relevant sector or practice is needed - just a curiosity to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively with, and influence, partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects running in parallel with tight deadlines.
  • A positive role model who meets new challenges with a constructive and open mind and shows enthusiasm for new opportunities and ideas.
  • Regarded as a team player who is confident sharing information across a broader team.
