An excellent opportunity awaits an ambitious Associate to join a global firm’s top-tier Contentious Construction practice in London. The team is highly regarded for advising clients across sectors, with particular strength in real estate developers, housebuilders, property investors, contractors, and engineering consultancies. They also act for private clients on high-value residential construction projects. Their work covers procurement, construction contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and performance bonds. They provide comprehensive dispute avoidance and resolution services, including adjudication, arbitration, litigation, mediation, and expert determination. The role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, with a current focus on disputes, significant responsibility, and strong client contact within a collaborative team.
Experience required:
- Qualified in England & Wales
- 2-4 years' PQE
- Experience in contentious construction matters, particularly in UK adjudications, TCC litigation, arbitration, and other forms of dispute avoidance and resolution such as mediation and expert determination
- Ability to provide clear, practical advice
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
