We’re working with a leading global organisation to appoint an Assistant Company Secretary into its high-performing Corporate Secretariat team on a temporary basis. This is a 6-month interim role with the possibility of extension.

You’ll support the delivery of high-quality corporate governance and regulatory compliance across a multi-listed PLC structure. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll contribute to core company secretarial activities while playing a key role in a large-scale governance transformation programme.

Start date: July 2026 (ASAP)

Location: London (hybrid working)

Contract duration: 6 months +

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support governance and compliance requirements for a globally listed group
  • Assist in reviewing and enhancing company secretarial processes and frameworks
  • Contribute to a major regulatory and governance transformation programme
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external legal advisers (UK & US)
  • Support the preparation of regulatory filings, including US reporting obligations
  • Assist with implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of new processes

About You:

  • CGI (Chartered Governance Institute) qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven company secretarial experience within a FTSE 100 or complex FTSE 250 environment
  • Strong understanding of UK listed company governance requirements
  • Experience of NYSE regulations and US reporting requirements
  • Exposure to JSE listing requirements would be advantageous
  • Confident working in a multi-jurisdictional, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach
