LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in London, for a senior housing lawyer locum. You will advise and represent clients in a wide range of housing and litigation matters including insurance work, commercial and contractual disputes, injunctions and judicial reviews.
To apply you will be:
- A qualified lawyer with prior UK local government experience
- Experienced handling a caseload of housing and litigation matters
- Able to attend court in person when required; otherwise, hybrid/home working is available
Essential experience:
- Experience handling a caseload of housing matters such as rent arrears, disrepair, under occupation, illegal occupation, nuisance and criminal activities, and tenancies gained by deception.
- Experience tackling housing fraud would be desirable.
