Senior Commercial Counsel

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a large education group company, with institutions based both inside the UK and outside the UK. They are seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel, on a full-time and permanent basis, to primarily draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial contracts including platform agreements, licences, terms and conditions, service agreements, partnership agreements, etc.

You will work alongside other counsel and may have line management responsibility for up to 2 junior staff. You will report directly to the Group General Counsel.

To apply you will be:

• A UK-qualified solicitor for England and Wales with minimum 5PQE from a UK private practice firm
• Able to demonstrate solid experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts
• Able to commute to the office in central London on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office

The salary for this role is £120,000 per annum.
