A newly created role to build a team with a highly competitive salary. An elite US law firm is looking for their first Pitch Manager to build their bids function from London. Reporting to the BD Director, you will be instrumental in developing new processes/infrastructure for the firm as well as growing and managing the team. This is a rare opportunity to join a premium law firm who have big plans to grow their London office.
Highlights:
- Lead the process for responding to firmwide RFPs/RFIs; including, leading kick off meetings and “go/no go” discussions, participating in strategy sessions, drafting targeted, high quality content and updating and managing responses.
- Work with the BD team members and other stakeholders to develop and manage business development training for attorneys.
- Coach and prepare attorneys for client pitches and presentations.
- Manage and improve the firm’s proposal and pitch tracking database.
- Work with business development team to ensure lawyers participate in post-RFP evaluations to obtain feedback.
- Based on RFP results, look for new areas of growth and proactively help develop a strategy for identifying pursuits.
The firm is looking for a highly experienced bids professional who has worked at another global law firm in a similar role. You will have a proven track record of developing work winning pitch material and be confident in dealing with high profile stakeholders.
