LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in South London, for an experienced property lawyer on a locum basis. You will be offered a 3-month contract initially, with potential to extend.
You will manage a diverse caseload of property-related matters including disposals, acquisitions, leases, and regeneration projects, providing high-quality legal advice and support across the Local Authority.
Previous UK local government experience is essential.
To apply you will:
- Be an England and Wales qualified lawyer, barrister or chartered legal executive.
- Be able to demonstrate substantial experience handling a caseload of property matters including disposals, acquisitions, leases, and regeneration schemes.
- Be able to attend the office on a hybrid working basis of 2 days per week in the office.
- Be available on no more than a 4-week notice period.
The salary for this role will be offered on an hourly basis, and is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
