A strong opportunity is available with a highly regarded, award-winning Top 500 law firm seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (5–10 PQE) to join its expanding North London team. This is a growth hire within a well-established disputes practice, offering high-quality work, genuine responsibility and clear scope to contribute to the team’s continued development.
The role involves a broad mix of commercial and residential property disputes. Matters include landlord and tenant disputes (rent recovery, possession and forfeiture), enforcement of easements, rights of way and restrictive covenants, beneficial interest disputes, and Party Wall matters. Exposure to construction-related disputes would be beneficial but is not essential. The team handles a varied and interesting caseload, and there is an expectation that the successful candidate will play an active role in business development and helping to generate new work.
You will manage a diverse caseload of contentious property matters with appropriate supervision, working closely with colleagues across the wider property and private client teams. The role offers strong client contact, responsibility from an early stage, and the opportunity to build a visible profile within the practice.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5–10 years’ PQE with solid experience in property litigation
- Background in both commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
- Experience with easements, covenants, beneficial interest and Party Wall disputes
- Commercially aware and confident handling files independently
- Able to contribute to business development and relationship building
- Team-oriented, proactive and able to work effectively in a busy environment
