This prestigious City law firm has a new opportunity for a Leveraged Finance Associate (5PQE ++) to join a market-leading team with an excellent reputation in Leveraged Finance. The successful candidate will work on complex, high-profile transactions for top-tier clients across private equity, corporate, and financial sectors.
The remit will be to act for sponsors, borrowers, and lenders on a broad range of finance transactions, including acquisition and leveraged finance, refinancings, and general corporate lending. The work is varied and intellectually engaging, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements.
The successful candidate will:
- Advise private equity houses and major corporate clients on financing arrangements.
- Support transactions from term sheet stage through to closing, with direct client contact.
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers within the practice, gaining exposure to a wide range of deal types and structures.
Applicants must have upwards of 5 years' PQE in leveraged finance and extensive exposure to international work. There is a very strong sense of firm identity and excellent connectivity across the Finance team and wider firm creating a super culture and happy work environment.
