We are looking for an ambitious non-contentious construction lawyer to join a well‐known UK firm in its highly ranked construction practice in London. The team advises a broad range of well‐known national and international clients across the full lifecycle of construction and engineering projects. The work is varied and high quality, spanning major international projects, including data centres, large‐scale national energy and infrastructure schemes, major retail developments, and new build and redevelopment projects.

The successful candidate will advise on the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, as well as day‐to‐day operational issues arising during live projects. The role will also involve advising clients on the practical impact of new legislation and case law on their projects and wider businesses.

Experience required:

  • Qualified in England & Wales
  • 2-4 years' PQE gained at a leading construction practice.
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts and related project documents.
  • Familiarity with standard form construction contracts, including JCT and NEC.
  • Ability to provide clear, practical advice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
