We're supporting a leading digital commerce business seeking an Interim Commercial Lawyer to join its small legal team on an initial 2-month contract, with an ASAP start. This is a broad commercial role offering exposure to a wide range of legal matters across a technology-driven, e-commerce business.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial contracts experience, ideally gained within a technology, digital or e-commerce environment.
- Initial 2-month contract
- Hybrid working, 2 days per week in the London office
- ASAP start
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Software, technology, and SaaS contracts
- Contract renewals and supplier agreements
- Supporting on data protection, IP, and AI-related matters
- Providing pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders
- Supporting strategic and business-critical projects as required
Key requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 1-5 years' PQE
- Strong commercial contracts experience
- Experience within a digital, technology, e-commerce, or online business
- Comfortable working autonomously in a small legal team
- Able to pick up a broad workload quickly and operate with minimal supervision
- Previous interim, contract, or secondment experience preferred
- Must be immediately available
