Legal Officer Litigation, on a temporary/locum basis. The role will start with an initial 3-month contract and extend from there as necessary.
The salary is negotiable, dependent on experience, but a preliminary guide is £18-£23/hour PAYE.
You will provide support to lawyers and senior lawyers with a caseload of legal work, across various forms of litigation including civil and criminal, housing and enforcement.
To apply you will:
- Be a UK-qualified law graduate
- Be able to demonstrate at least 6 months’ practical experience in a law firm or in-house, supporting lawyers with litigation work
- Be able to attend the office on a hybrid working basis of 2-3 days per week in the office
Essential experience:
- Drafting court pleadings, statements and general correspondence
- Preparation of bundles and instructions to counsel
- Attendance at court with counsel
