Industry membership body seeks a Legal Counsel to join rapidly expanding team.
You will provide strategic legal support across the body’s operations. You will ensure they enter into robust and commercially sound agreements, complying with legal and regulatory frameworks. You will be a trusted advisor and critical friend, part of an organisation with an expanding portfolio at the heart of Britain’s infrastructure.
You will lead in the negotiation of commercial contracts. These will include IT, tech, consultancy, marketing and advertising. You will advise on project risk. You will support the GC and Company Secretary with governance issues. You will be involved in data protection and wider legal issues.
For excellent candidates, the organisation are able to pay the top of the salary band.
To be considered you must be an England and Wales qualified solicitor. You will have excellent commercial contracts experience and an understanding of data protection law. You will likely be at least 3 PQE, but this is only a guide.
The office is in central London. You will need to be in the office one day per week, though more is permitted!
