Overview
LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Worcestershire for a Legal Clerk on a temporary basis, to cover a maternity leave, starting as soon as possible and lasting until August 2026.
You will provide clerical and administrative support to the Childcare Team, working on renewals of interim orders in Care Proceedings and preparing/producing bundles of documents for legal proceedings in Court.
The council is looking for candidates with previous childcare/local government experience in the UK.
To apply you will be:
- A graduate with minimum 2:1 LLB Law Degree
- Able to demonstrate previous experience within childcare law from a local government environment
- Able to attend the office and/or court in the Worcestershire area as necessary (preferred)
- Available on no more than a 2-week notice period
The salary for this role starts from Β£15.75/hour umbrella, depending on experience.
