We are working with a consulting and technology‑led organisation seeking a Legal Counsel to join its UK Legal team and support a broad range of commercial, public sector, and regulatory matters.
London, hybrid working
The Role:
- Provide generalist legal support across UK operations, acting as a trusted advisor to the business
- Lead the review, negotiation, and management of commercial contracts, including MSAs, DNAs, supply, and services agreements
- Support public sector contracting, including CCS framework agreements and customer bids
- Advise on contractual risk, regulatory compliance, and alignment with internal governance and policies
- Support bid processes, contract lifecycle management, and contract record‑keeping
- Provide legal advice on a range of commercial and regulatory matters affecting UK operations
- Support litigation oversight and legal risk management
- Assist with governance and corporate secretarial matters for UK entities
- Support compliance initiatives, including anti‑corruption, data protection, sanctions, and information security
- Assist with M&A activity, including legal due diligence and post‑acquisition integration
Ideal Candidate:
- England & Wales qualified Solicitor
- 1–3 years’ PQE as a generalist in‑house lawyer or similar experience
- Strong experience advising on commercial contracts, including MSAs, DNAs, and supply agreements
- Experience supporting public sector contracts and procurement frameworks
- Commercial, pragmatic, and business‑focused mindset
- Must hold or be eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance
