We are working with a FTSE 100 company seeking a qualified solicitor to join the procurement legal team. This is a great opportunity to work closely with procurement and commercial stakeholders, advising on high-value supplier contracts and ensuring legal and commercial best practice across the supply chain.
Location: Remote, with occasional travel
Rate: £300–£350 per day (PAYE)
Contract: 3 months (with potential to extend)
You must be immediately available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support on a range of procurement and supplier contracts, including goods, services, logistics, and technology.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations across procurement activities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and procurement agreements.
- Identify legal risks in supply chain arrangements and recommend practical, commercial solutions.
- Work closely with procurement, commercial, and operational teams across the business.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a current practising certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in procurement and commercial contracts.
- Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics and contractual risk.
- Able to work independently and communicate legal advice clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- Immediately available to start
