Our client, an international law firm, is looking for someone with strong pensions and risk experience to join their Pensions team. This would be for an initial contract period until they find someone on a permanent basis. The position will likely be for around 6 months initially.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take on high-level advisory and transactional work at a recognised market leader. The position is a senior level role within a highly respected team, working closely with partners on complex, high-value matters for major UK and international clients. The role offers a strong blend of strategic advisory work, risk-focused pensions matters, and transactional due diligence.

You will be:

  • Advising trustees and corporate clients across the full spectrum of occupational pensions work.
  • Leading on risk transfer, liability management, scheme governance, and de-risking projects.
  • Managing and delivering pensions due diligence and advising on pensions aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Providing senior oversight on advisory matters, ensuring high technical quality and excellent client service.
  • Taking responsibility for client relationships and contributing to the smooth progression of matters during the transition period.

Due to the nature and level of responsibility in this role, you will have strong technical expertise in occupational pensions law and regulatory frameworks, demonstrable experience in risk transfer work and pensions support on corporate transactions, and the ability to operate confidently and autonomously in a senior role.

The position is to start as soon as possible. Please email Bryanne Hendricks – Rutter with your CV and availability.
