An international FMCG organisation is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support on a 14-Month FTC maternity cover.
The role involves providing legal support to businesses operating in the UK & Ireland Region.
The role is based in West London with a hybrid working model.
The role:
- Working with the team to manage legal risk and compliance for the UK & Ireland Region. Oversee compliance related queries and be responsible for maintaining the legal compliance platform. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as distribution, supply, sales, information technology, procurement, and supply chain agreements. Responsible for applying Governance, Risk and Compliance standards. Responsible for developing in house training on compliance related topics in areas such as Anti-trust, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, dawn raids, Data Protection, GSCOP, and other Group policies.
The ideal candidate:
- UK qualified or significant UK experience. 3+ PQE In-house experience in FMCG or retail. Compliance, regulatory and commercial experience Experince with GDPR/DP, Anti-bribery and Anti-trust
