An international FMCG organisation is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support on a 14-Month FTC maternity cover. The role involves providing legal support to businesses operating in the UK & Ireland Region. The role is based in West London with a hybrid working model. Salary range is £55-65K. Requires availability on short notice.
The role:
- Working with the team to manage legal risk and compliance for the UK & Ireland Region.
- Oversee compliance related queries and be responsible for maintaining the legal compliance platform.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as distribution, supply, sales, information technology, procurement, and supply chain agreements.
- Responsible for applying Governance, Risk and Compliance standards.
- Responsible for developing in house training on compliance related topics in areas such as Anti-trust, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, dawn raids, Data Protection, GSCOP, and other Group policies.
The ideal candidate:
- UK qualified or significant UK experience.
- 2+ PQE In-house experience in FMCG or retail.
- Compliance and commercial contracts experience.
