We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority on an urgent basis for a three‑month initial term, working on a high‑profile and complex litigation matter.
The Role
- Leading on disclosure and investigation exercises
- Working closely with internal police investigators
- Drafting comprehensive witness statements
- Supporting pre‑litigation processes, including document review, enquiries, and evidence gathering
This is a hands‑on role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and complex information.
Key Requirements
- Proven Commercial Litigation experience
- Strong experience in drafting witness statements, handling disclosure processes, conducting investigations and enquiries, and managing pre‑litigation steps
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including investigative teams
- Availability to start immediately or at very short notice
- Current practising certificate
- Hybrid working arrangement – able to work in the London office a couple of days a week
